Royal Engagement Photos

Well the eagerly awaited Royal engagement photos are here! Shot by the legendary Mario Testino, who fails to make anyone look less than exquisite. I have to say i have not been disappointed. Although truth be told i would have like to have seen a lot more photos. I would have liked a 'Hello Magazine' spread but that's just me, I just love to see what Kate is wearing.

Enough of my ramblings and onto the photo's.

Stunning photos of a couple who seem so happy and in love. I know a lot of people have a negative take on the forthcoming royal wedding but i have to say isn't it nice to have some nice news for once. What's more lovely than a young couple in love starting the rest of their lives together? Perhaps baby news but then thats me getting ahead of myself. Seriously though, how cute would their babies be? Lets hope they dont leave us waiting too long after the nuptuals to find out!

What do you think of these photos, i would love to hear your thoughts!

I Heart Ruffles

I am a huge ruffles lover! Its funny how your tastes change as you get older. Ask me 10 years ago about pastel colours, ruffles, hearts and all other things girly and i would have turned my nose up in disgust! But now i cant get enough of super cute girly girls stuff!

In my opinion it doesnt much girlier than ruffles and frills! Here's some of my favourite wedding ruffles!

You could also incorporate ruffles into your table linens and napkins. Whatever you decide one thing is key... dont go overboard! I think there is such a thing as too many ruffles. Pick a few key focal points to ruffle and everything around those elements should be kept clean and simple!

I hope you have enjoyed reading
