Royal Engagement Photos

Well the eagerly awaited Royal engagement photos are here! Shot by the legendary Mario Testino, who fails to make anyone look less than exquisite. I have to say i have not been disappointed. Although truth be told i would have like to have seen a lot more photos. I would have liked a 'Hello Magazine' spread but that's just me, I just love to see what Kate is wearing.

Enough of my ramblings and onto the photo's.

Stunning photos of a couple who seem so happy and in love. I know a lot of people have a negative take on the forthcoming royal wedding but i have to say isn't it nice to have some nice news for once. What's more lovely than a young couple in love starting the rest of their lives together? Perhaps baby news but then thats me getting ahead of myself. Seriously though, how cute would their babies be? Lets hope they dont leave us waiting too long after the nuptuals to find out!

What do you think of these photos, i would love to hear your thoughts!

I Heart Ruffles

I am a huge ruffles lover! Its funny how your tastes change as you get older. Ask me 10 years ago about pastel colours, ruffles, hearts and all other things girly and i would have turned my nose up in disgust! But now i cant get enough of super cute girly girls stuff!

In my opinion it doesnt much girlier than ruffles and frills! Here's some of my favourite wedding ruffles!

You could also incorporate ruffles into your table linens and napkins. Whatever you decide one thing is key... dont go overboard! I think there is such a thing as too many ruffles. Pick a few key focal points to ruffle and everything around those elements should be kept clean and simple!

I hope you have enjoyed reading

Winter weddings...

Everywhere i turn at the moment its all snow snow snow... except none seems to have landed in the Midlands yet?

I am a HUGE lover of snow it makes everything so pretty and is just so much fun!

Anyway in keeping with the snow talk i came across this stunning winter wedding put together by Jessica Claire and JL Design and Events featured on Style me Pretty. The gorgeous bold Blue, Green and Yellow tones in contrast with the white clean crisp snow make for some truly stunning images i think you will agree...

I have to say i am in love with the brides bouquet.

You can view all the fabulous details of this wedding in full via Style Me Pretty's post

Busy week!!

Well this week i have been super busy creating some new centrepiece ideas as well as now offering chair cover hire in the west midlands and surrounding areas! Here are a couple of the new centrepieces...

The tea cups are my personal favourite and have given me the most exciting idea for another centrepiece. The framework for it is currently in process and i cant reveal too much but its very vintage meets the mad hatters tea party!

Another busy week ahead for me lots of design ideas and preparations for wedding fayre season in Jan! Hope you have all had a fab week.

Pom Pom Tree

Here is my take on a topiary tree, using a tissue paper pom!

Standing at approx 80cms tall I am really happy with how it turned out, and am super excited to see these used as wedding table centrepieces!

Pomania...

I had the pleasure of attending my friends sons christening this weekend, and had the double pleasure of making the pom poms for the function room!

Here are a few snaps from the big day the first one being the room pom pom less!

I love how these pom poms changed the whole feel of the room and everyone loved them... in fact most people went home with at least one!

Smitten Sticks...

Looking to add something fun and unique to your wedding reception?

I just love these smitten sticks by Le Papier Stuido

These would certainly make for amusing reception photo's!

These are currently only available to purchase in the USA at the moment, but there is nothing to stop you designing and creating your own smittenesque sticks for use at your wedding!

Another addition

Isnt it amazing what a different snip of the scissors can do? This one is just so girly but i really love it!

I am imagining this at a christening with little flower centrepieces on the table and co-ordinating hanging poms!

Hope you like :-)

On my way...

Well i made the first item in my new range tonight and i am quite pleased with how it turned out. I may not use as many pearls on the next one though, i think grouping them in 3's on this size is a bit too much. What do you think??

The overall look i was going for has been achieved now i just need to perfect it!

These would look lovely at the the end of the pews down the isle or even draped on the back of chairs.

Here is a sneek peek of the first attempt...

I have purposely done this in a Christmas theme giving the time of yr fast approaching us, but will be making more in different colour schemes!
Hope you like it...

I guess i should introduce myself!

Well hello there everyone!

My name is Leeanne, full time mummy of my wonderful baby girl Sienna and wife to my most of the time fabulous hubby Chris. I have a passion for all things crafty, beautiful and unique. I currently run my own website making and selling baby/children accessories www.sienna-grace.com and I have created this blog to co-incide with my new venture wedding/party decor and gifts. As well as to share all the fab ideas/things i come across. I guess Sienna Grace Designs is a more grown up version of Sienna Grace Baby Boutique and allows me to travel down many different paths. As they say... Variety is the spice of life!
I hope you enjoy the journey with me.
Thats all for now...
